RLab offers a range of educational programs for professionals who want to take advantage of growing opportunities in VR, AR and related technologies. Our educational programs include:

Master Classes for professionals who want to level up technical skills.

Executive Education programs for executives who want to lead innovation projects.

Classes take place at RLab and at academic partner institutions around New York City. Instructors include industry-leading practitioners, subject matter experts, and faculty from RLab’s university consortium – led by NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and including Columbia University, The New School and CUNY.

MASTER CLASSES

Master Classes help developers, creatives and technicians advance their careers, build their professional networks, and expand their practice. Master Classes will focus on a range of skills and topics, and participants will walk away with proficiency on the subject matter, hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and techniques, and a jump start on a specific project.


EXECUTIVE EDUCATION

Executive Education programs are designed to spur leadership across industries. These multi-day courses will inspire and train C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, and technical and creative directors to identify new applications for immersive technologies and build products and businesses that realize the potential of these emerging tools and interfaces.


ACADEMIC PARTNER COURSES

 

RLab’s partnership with the City University of New York supports courses at CUNY partner schools that are designed to increase access to jobs and skills in emerging technology fields, and get more New Yorkers working with VR and AR.

The Emerging Tech Lab offers courses to ensure that journalists have access to opportunities to learn about and experiment with immersive storytelling tools. Learn more.
